REVEX PA – SCR power controller with advanced functions

REVEX PA is the latest born in the REVEX family.

The REVEX are positioned between the two families REVO S and REVO C in terms of price and performance.

The main characteristic is that they can be configured according to your needs by eliminating of all options that you do not want to use, in order to reduce the purchase price.

It is an extremely flexible and performing unit.

The REVEX PA is a three-phase unit with higher functions compared to the other REVEX 3PH models, because it is able to carry out phase angle firing with or without Current Limit.

Hierdoor is de REVEX PA geschikt voor het aansturen van inductieve belastingen, zoals driefasige transformatoren. Dankzij het interne algoritme kan het vermogen ook bij speciale belastingen – zoals MoSi2- en SiC-verwarmingselementen – nauwkeurig worden geregeld.

REVEX PA is therefore a unit suitable for driving inductive loads, such as three-phase transformers. The algorithm inside the unit allow the control of the power even for special loads, such as MoSi2 and SiC heating elements.

It is suitable for controlling both normal resistive loads and short, medium or long wave infrared lamps. Compared to the REVEX 3PH series, it has junctions with a high I2T suitable for managing the current peaks typical of IRSW (ultra short) lamps even on the smallest sizes such as 35A and 50A.

The unit can also be controlled through the analog input (4-20 mA / 0-10V) or via Modbus® serial communication.

The microprocessor allows different firing modes including Burst Firing, Phase Angle, Delayed Triggering, Zero Crossing.
The control can take place in Voltage, Current, Power or V2 and I2 with Transfer to VxI.

Another feature of our unit is the integrated USB port to configure the instrument in safe mode, without the aid of the connected load and auxiliary voltage. During setup, the unit is powered directly via USB.
