De KS 98-2 biedt een TFT-kleurendisplay (320 x 240 pixels) met Touch. Individuele tekstregels kunnen met de huidige functiestatussen worden weergegeven. Setpoint, werkelijke waarden of gemanipuleerde variabelen kunnen worden gevisualiseerd in staafdiagrammen of trendcurves.

Het instrument is vrij programmeerbaar op basis van een uitgebreide functiebibliotheek ter ondersteuning van de engineering van individuele oplossingen, van analoge signaalconditionering tot digitale signaalbewerkingen en cascaderegelsystemen tot complexe vermaasde regellussen.
