MQTT data collector for our Data Collection Module (DCM)*
This feature allows SiteManager users to collect data from any MQTT-compatible device or data source, extending your data collection options and reinforcing your ability to connect Secomea with any OT equipment.
The MQTT data collector can operate in two modes:
- Client mode: where it acts as an MQTT client, collecting data by subscribing to data topics on an external broker;
- Broker mode: where it acts as an MQTT broker, collecting data by allowing external clients to publish data directly to the SiteManager (find an example configuration for the broker mode here).
Both Client and Broker modes can be configured to support different authentication and TLS encryption schemes, allowing you to tailor a secure solution to collect data from your particular MQTT scenario.
